The review

The review:2/25/12: The movie version of the play was quite interesting. Sean Combs role as Walter was a bit different and I felt he could play George Murchison instead.Maybe the actor who played George Murchison should've played Walter instead.However all the other roles the were played by the actors were very realistic. In this case seeing is believing,because instead of just reading the play seeing people act it out actually shows the real emotions of the characters. So far my favorite part of the play was when Beneatha was in the Nigerian clothing and was dancing to "bring the men back home",it was quite humorous.However I did like the color of the clothing on her. The apartment was actually a bit worse than I imagined. I actually pictured it more dark inside and worn out wallpaper. However it seemed ok compared to my imagination.

2/20/12:$100,000: Oh the glory of having money! Let's see now;once money comes to mind I always make a list of the things I need and the things I want. In this case I actually have money to blow,but I'm not that care free. First my dream is to buy an apartment in Santa Monica,and not jut any old apartment but a nice two bedroom,two bathroom,island installed,balcony with a beautiful view type of apartment. My boyfriend would live with me and his dog,Luna(that sweet girl). Once I get the apartment; a celebration is a must. Second is a shopping spree;I deserve a time to spend money on me. Part of my shopping spree would involve getting another dog;a cute blue nosed pit. The rest of my money I'd save under my king size temperpedic mattress. XOXO

A Raisin In the Sun:2/8/12: The play so far is very familiar. All the descriptions of the housing and how the characters actions are described seem so real;believable if I am say. I think the play so far though is drama,drama,drama;which I can relate too. In the play I can relate to a little bit of Mama and Beneatha; Mama has this personality of making sure everyone is okay and alright before herself like any other mother would. Even if Mama is domineering she means no harm to anyone just to try and help out,and I feel like a mother sometimes who just wants to help other and protect those who need it the most. Beneath has this independent personality;she wants to become someone not only important to the community but to show her family that she can pursue her dreams;like me I want to become a someone and show my family that I can do good in my life.

Hair Dye

Hair Dye:2/2/12 Hair is one of the key components to a girl. We have been messing with out hair since we first grew it out on day one. From pigtails to ponytails, clean buns to messy buns, and straightening and curling. Salons have given us a new way to mess with our gorgeous locks;dying it. Now I know once you dye you hair a certain color and keep messing with it it is like killing your own hair,but we aren't murderers just artist. I first started to highlight my hair in 2nd grade; I thought I was the coolest girl with red highlights. Then moving on I have colored my hair many times since 8th grade thanks to my wicked cool hair stylist of a mom. Now a days though I see girls with all sorts of colors in their hair,not only natural colors but vibrant,bright,dark, and glamours colors. Red,Pink,Teal,Green,Blonde,Orange,Blue,Purple,and even Gray. "Oh gosh that poor girl! Her hair is going to fall out! Jaz,see she has light purple for her short layers and dark purple for her ends!",while my mom says this she is shaking her head in disappointment. She doesn't know though,that those types of colors are what people really want and love. Obviously my mom plays on the safe side and keeps colors neutral and clean;I actually believe she would be scared if a client walked in and asked,"Hey I was thinking Baby Pink today and layers.", my mom would look at that client with a horrified expression. Hey everyone has their own ideas of what they want to do to their own hair,and i actually do like the whole dying hair idea. However I'll wait till I';m 18 to dye my hair jet black;my dream hair color. XOXO
